Chinese Adoptee Cookbook, 养女的食谱, is a conceptual cookbook, created for and by Chinese adoptees. Blending food with narrative, the cookbook goes beyond traditional recipes to weave together memories, poems, photographs, and illustrations that reflect the adoptee experience. This book serves as a collective table, an archive, and a vessel. It creates a cross-cultural kinship space for adoptees to nourish and hold each other close.
